From San Francisco landmarks to garden ceremonies and rooftop celebrations, every wedding looks different because every couple does. Here’s a look at a few celebrations I’ve had the privilege of planning and producing.
Ritika and Suhas celebrated with a traditional Indian Catholic ceremony across two iconic San Francisco settings: St. Ignatius and San Francisco City Hall. The celebration came before their traditional Indian ceremony the following day and included choreographed dances with their parents and bridal party, with their brothers emceeing the reception.
You’ve got enough on your plate. I’m here to take the planning off of it so you’re not trying to manage every little thing yourself.
High school sweethearts Lindy and Derek celebrated with a morning ceremony at Hakone Gardens and an evening reception at Domenico Winery. Three bridal outfits, a colorful palette, Bay Area music and a busy dance floor carried the celebration from day into night.
Lesley and Amber’s celebration at The Brazilian Room drew from Amber’s Hawaiian heritage, with tropical florals, a malasada station and a joyful evening of dancing under the stars.
Planning from Texas, Kelley and Aaron chose Oakland—a city they loved—for their celebration at High5ive. The venue also holds a full-circle place in the story of Kaiya Smith Events: it’s where I coordinated my very first KSE wedding.
